The Forum meeting at Yetholm led to 8 people from the area and 2 people from elsewhere (there for the music session that followed the meeting) signing up to be kept informed on further developments. All the locals expressed a keen interest in more opportunities for young people to express themselves through music. Ideas ranged from a ukulele class to a band practice space. Venue suggestions in included the local scout hut, currently the scene of the adult arts class charity exhibition. The fact of the adult art class led to the slight diversion and the suggestion that there should be a children's art class. Teenage feeling centred on transport and venue issues. Most people get into bands through school contacts and those who live away from the high school town have problems...
